During the President of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf's recent visit to the United States, a grand fashion show was held at the Woodward Marriott in Washington DC. The show titled "Through the Civilizations" walked the audience through Central Asian, Gandhara-Greek, Mughal Raj and Contemporary attire.  Leading designers Hassan Sheheryar, Nelofer Shahid, and Rizwan Beig showcased their collections.
