What made you decide to agree
to fly to Abu Dhabi for the Red Bull Air Race?
I wouldn’t have missed it for the
world – come on! I feel really fortunate to have
been chosen for this mega event.
What kind of an event was it and
what was your exact role in the entire affair?
I feel Red Bull sponsored me as an Ambassador
for Pakistan. I was there as a part of the crowd and
atmosphere, having fun and flying high – literally!
How does it make you feel to know
you and Amanat have been the first Pakistani celebrities
invited to this mega-global event?
Very grateful and extremely happy.
Tell us about this exclusive Media
Flight you were on at the Air Race - what was so special
about it?
I was in an aircraft with a world renowned
pilot, Sergio Pla, pulling god knows what kind of stunts
in the air! I’ve got butterflies in my stomach,
not to mention elephants running around, just thinking
back to it. It was a once in a lifetime experience and
I was a new woman when I landed back on earth.
Where exactly was this event being
held in Abu Dhabi?
Near 18th Street and Hiltonia Beach in
Abu Dhabi. The area is massive and extremely beautiful
to look at.
What, or rather who, did you be
wear at this two day event? [We just had to ask!]
Something swanky and sexy from my own
wardrobe.
You represented the Pakistani fashion and film industry,
[your film launch just took place a few days ago - congratulations!]
- did you feel a great sense of responsibility on your
shoulders going into the Red Bull Air Race as a representative
for both these fraternities?
The responsibility was absolutely there
and I acted it, but at the same time I had fun and was
myself. My objective was to do whatever I could to make
Pakistan shine, as we really need that right now.
