Pasadena, CA: Greg Mortenson's Central Asia Institute held a fund raising event at the Hilton in Pasadena, California.

Greg Mortenson is a humanitarian, international peace-maker and the author of the international best seller Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission To Promote Peace... One School At A Time.. He has built scores of schools in the remote under-privileged areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan. This event raised about 200,000 dollars.

Haroon made a special appearance and auctioned one of his guitars for the event and sang a few songs to the crowds delight.
