When it comes to
makeup and styling, Sakib Chishti is a true professional.
He needs no introduction as he has appeared on our magazine
many times before with similar makeovers, beauty tips
and ideas. In the past few years, Sakib has created
a niche for himself in the makeup and fashion scene
of Lahore. At our request Sakib did a makeover of a
50 year old woman. He states that as women get older,
they stop taking care of themselves and start looking
older than they really are. Here he demonstrates what
a little bit of makeup and hair styling can do to pull
out the hidden beauty of this woman. We think the finished
look is amazing!

 First
First, Sakib applies the base
on the model. He mixes two shades of the stick foundation
to exactly match the skin shade. The base is the most
important part of any makeover; it is used to cover
up any imperfections and blemishes. If the foundation
or base is not the right shade, it can end up making
your complexion look gray and unnatural. If the
foundation or base is not the right shade it can end

The second step is to do the
eye makeup. Sakib has chosen a pink eye shade which
he uses to cover the entire lid. On the top he uses
a silver/white highlighter shadow.

Next, he uses a dark gray shadow for the outer corners
of the eye to give a smoky look. He applies the dark
shade on the crease of the eye and then blends both
colors together. lors together.

The eyebrows are next; Sakib
defines the shape with an eyebrow brush. If you have
over-tweezed eyebrows, you can fill them in with a
dark shadow that matches the hair of your brows.

Sakib is now applying the liquid
eyeliner using a brush. He carefully goes over the
top and the bottom part of the eye.

After the eye makeup is done,
Sakib uses a blusher on the cheeks of the model. He
uses a pink shade so that the eyes and the cheeks
are from the same color family.

Here Sakib is applying the
lipstick, first he uses a pencil outline so the lipstick
stays in place.

A makeover is not complete
without great looking hair; here he is giving the
model a layered look.

After cutting and blow-drying
the hair, Sakib irons it for a polished look.

The final look is simply stunning!
