A Turkish delight indeed! I
have been ordering food from this mid-town Manhattan
restaurant for a few months now, and have always been
impressed at how quick of a delivery they make and
how fresh and delicious the food is. I decided to
go visit it and found it to be a neat and casual place
to spend a nice afternoon with friends or family.
The place is relatively small, but well kept with
tastefully done décor. The service is friendly
and quite pleasant. The manager is very professional
and understanding of customer needs.
Some of my favorite appetizers include Borek and Cacek.
Borek is an appetizer made of phyllo dough stuffed
with feta cheese. Cacek is a delicious yogurt sauce
made with tiny diced cucumbers and mint, and a must-have
for me with the meats. Their bread is also excellent
to have with their succulent lamb and chicken kebabs.
Lately, however, I have noticed that the rice doesn't
taste the same anymore. Earlier, I felt the rice was
cooked in lamb broth to give it that certain special
taste, but I could be wrong. I just want it back!
To end any lovely meal at this restaurant, one must
try the mouth watering Baklava.
